School of Life Scholarship Recipients

School of Life Scholarship Recipients

Four local high school graduates received a $500 scholarship to the university of their choosing from The School of Life Foundation. They were recently recognized for not only completing the School of Life training, which helped them get back on track for graduation, also for changing the attitudes they had towards school and altering the direction their lives were heading. The School of Life program began seven years ago at Desert Hills High with participating students realizing a 16 percent increase in their GPA scores that first year. This program is currently in 14 Washington County School District schools and will be in 25 schools next year. We thank the many community partners who help make this program available in our schools. We also congratulate our students who work so hard to see success.
