Advanced Placement
Advanced Placement (AP) is a challenging academic program designed to provide students with an opportunity to earn college credit by taking courses that are demanding and help develop the content mastery and critical thinking skills expected of college students. Students who enroll in AP courses have the opportunity to participate in AP Exams to earn college credit. The number of credits awarded is based on the course content and the college issuing the credit.
