EBT Information (Información EBT)
On Dec. 23, 2022, Congress authorized Summer EBT as a permanent, nationwide program. Summer EBT provides families whose children are eligible for free and reduced-price school meals with grocery benefits on a debit-type card during the summer months.
The Summer EBT program requires 50% state match funds. The Department of Workforce Services has submitted a budget request to the governor’s office and will require legislative approval.
El 23 de diciembre de 2022, el Congreso autorizó Summer EBT como un programa nacional permanente. Summer EBT brinda a las familias cuyos hijos son elegibles para comidas escolares gratuitas o de precio reducido beneficios de comestibles en una tarjeta de débito durante los meses de verano.
