Did You Know?

  • Speech-Lanuage Pathologists provide and assessment and inntervention services to students who have difficulty with listening, reasoning, and/or speaking, Speech-Language Pathologists serve as integral members of each school's multidisciplinary team.
  • Utah Augmentative, Alternative, and Assistive Communication Teams, (UAAACT), provide a child-centered approach for the assessment and development of augmentative, alternative, and assistive communication systems for students who are non-speaking or who are severely limited in their quality of speech or written language.
  • Audiologists provide hearing screening tests, comprehensive auiological evaluation for students with known hearing losses, and provide instuction in the use of assistive listening devices.
