There have been many questions regarding the “Pink Slime” found in beef products within school cafeterias. Washington County School District Child Nutrition Department would like to address any concerns may be out there. We DO NOT purchase nor have we purchased products containing ammonium hydroxide treated beef trimmings or “Pink Slime”.
