Transition Services

Post High
The Post High transitional program offers a positive learning environment for special needs students who are not yet 22 but their high school class has graduated. The program is community based and allows students the opportunity to continue learning following high school. Post High service is based on the individual students IEP goals and may include: job skill training, community access, life skills, physical and occupational therapy as well as information on agencies that might ofer assistance.
The Post High building also houses the behavior program, audiology (including the hearing testing booth), physical and occupational therapy and the staff that facilitates the Medicaid program.
The goal of Post High is to help students be more prepared for transition into their communities and adult life.
