We are pleased to announce the selection of Mike Winslow as the Assistant Principal and Athletic Director of Crimson Cliffs High School. Mike will join the Mustang staff with Principal Rusty Taylor to open the school in August of 2019.
Mike Winslow is in his 15th year of teaching. All of those years have been in the Washington County School District. Mike started by helping to open Fossil Ridge Intermediate as the band director, then 4 years later he was part of the team that opened Sunrise Ridge Intermediate and Desert Hills High as the band director and fine arts department chair. Mike has been at Desert Hills all 11 years of its existence and also taught choir for a time, was the learning coach for 3 years and had the opportunity to do administrative internship duties. Mike was also the team leader for the 2008 PLC Team of the Year for WCSD.
Mike is married to fellow music educator Hayley Winslow and they have three amazing children - Tyson, Anna, & Brayden. Mike is thrilled to have this opportunity and he looks forward to working with the new faculty, staff, students and community at Crimson Cliffs. He also will miss the amazing Thunder Family that has had a huge influence on him.
