NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
WASHINGTON COUNTY SCHOOL DISTRICT
INDIAN EDUCATION PROGRAM
WASHINGTON COUNTY, UTAH

PUBLIC NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on Monday, May 11, 2020, the Washington
County School District Indian Education Program will hold and conduct a public hearing
to receive input from the public with respect to the issuance of and proposed budget of
the U.S. Department of Education 2020-2021 Indian Education Formula Grant Program
in the approximate amount of $117,748.00 based on the funding formula. The program
funds are designated for American Indian/Alaska Native student programs. The hearing
will be held during a public meeting that is scheduled to begin at 2:30 p.m. on May 11,
2020 at the Coral Cliffs Professional Learning Center, 2040 West 2000 North, St.
George, Utah.
DUE TO COVID-19, participation in this meeting at the location listed above will be
limited to the necessary District staff only to follow the federal and state guidelines that
limit gathering sizes. This meeting will be available for public remote participation at the
