Marybeth Fuller has announced her retirement as the WCSD Dual Immersion Coordinator after 15 years of service to the children of Washington County. Marybeth has been integral in establishing WCSD as the standard for dual immersion programs for children throughout Utah, and she helped to forge lasting relationships with Chinese and Spanish governments, which has benefited our District for many years. Marybeth’s last day will be in September.
With Marybeth’s retirement, we are excited to announce the appointment of Travis Wilstead as the new Dual Immersion Coordinator for the District. Travis will begin in July and work with Marybeth until she leaves in September. Travis is coming over from Majestic Fields Elementary where he has been serving as the principal for the past five years. Like Marybeth, Travis has been transformative to the schools in our district. He has been a principal since 2008 and has helped his school's excel in STEM and the state’s own grading system.
Please join us in congratulating Travis for his appointment to this position and in wishing Marybeth much success in her future endeavors.
