ABOUT TITLE I FAMILY CENTERS
Washington County School District offers Family Centers in three locations to serve parents and children. The Family Centers are a collection of resources to help parents facilitate the academic, emotional and social development of toddlers through adolescents. Each center offers print and digital materials including pamphlets, books, CD’s and videos to help parents develop additional parenting skills. In addition, the Family Centers offer a wide variety of games, activity sets, educational toys, and books for children. All resources may be checked out for home use or may be used in the Family Center. Computers and technical help are also available for use at the Family Center and a limited number of iPads with educational apps are available to check out for home use. The Family Centers offer parenting classes, English classes, and classes on helping your child succeed in school. Check with the center closest to you for schedules.
