Current Boundaries

Our interactive school boundary maps are separated out based on grade level. Click on the desired level below then use the interactive maps to show both walking boundaries for schools and overall boundaries for schools. You can also use the “magnifying glass” icon at the top left of the maps to enter your address and show the boundary school you live in.

Bus Routes

Bus route information for your child can be found by logging into your Parent PowerSchool account.

  • Navigate to the “Transportation” section on the left menu. 
  • Click on the “To or From” links on the page to give you specific information for you child.

Proposed Boundary Change(s)

Letter to residents of the Bloomington, Little Valley, South Mesa & Desert Canyons Elementary Schools boundary area
October 16, 2025

Dear Parents/Guardians,

The Washington County Board of Education is proposing the following boundary change that would take place in August 2026.

Affected Schools: Desert Canyons Elementary, Bloomington Elementary, Little Valley Elementary, and South Mesa Elementary (bus transportation would be provided for all qualifying students affected by the proposed boundary changes). 

Proposed Boundary Changes:

  • Desert Color Area:
    Students living in the Desert Color area south of the Southern Parkway to the Arizona border, and east of I-15 to the River Road on/off-ramp—would attend Bloomington Elementary School beginning in August 2026.
  • Southern View and South Desert Neighborhoods:
    Students residing in the Southern View and South Desert neighborhoods in the area between Lansky Drive and Weehawken Lane on the west and Hamilton Drive on the east, extending south to the Southern Parkway—would attend Little Valley Elementary School beginning in August 2026.
  •  Undeveloped Area East of Hamilton Drive:
    The undeveloped area east of Hamilton Drive, north of the Southern Parkway to 4150 South, and west of Desert Canyons Parkway and the airport, is currently zoned for Desert Canyons Elementary, and Little Valley Elementary. The proposal would rezone this area to Little Valley Elementary School beginning in August 2026.

Meeting for Public Comment

There will be a public meeting on the details of this proposed boundary change on Tuesday, October 28, 2025 at 6:00 PM at Desert Canyons Elementary.

Public Comment/Public Hearing

Public comments will also be accepted on Monday, November 17, 2025 and Monday, December 8, 2025 at the Washington County Board of Education meeting at Washington County School District Office at 121 West Tabernacle Street, St. George, Utah 84770, at 4:35 p.m.

Letter to residents of the Coral Canyon/Hurricane boundary area
September 29, 2025

Community Members,

The Washington County School District Board of Education is reviewing a proposed school boundary adjustment that may affect your household. In accordance with Utah Code § 53G-4-402, we are seeking community input on the potential change.

Why This Change Is Proposed

Currently, there are no students attending a school in the area affected by the proposed change. This adjustment is intended to provide clarity to existing school boundaries following recent construction. 

Proposed Boundary Change

  • Affected Schools: Coral Canyon Elementary and Hurricane Elementary
  • Proposal: Move the boundary line to 2800 West, continuing across 600 N to the back of the homes on 2760 W in the Eagle Pointe Subdivision from the Hurricane Elementary boundary to the Coral Canyon Elementary boundary.
